YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!
Because our metal signs are made-to-order, we cannot offer refunds. However, if our design team makes an error on your order, we will correct it by exchanging your sign for the correct version.
If a metal sign arrives damaged during shipment, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order. We’ll then provide instructions for replacing or exchanging it. Our top priority is your satisfaction.
Please provide us with a picture of the damaged or defective sign for our records and further review.
Refunds
If we determine that a refund is due, we will email you to notify you that it has been approved and provide instructions on how to proceed.
If you are approved for a refund, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
If you haven’t received an expected refund, recheck your bank account first.
Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items
There are no restrictions on whether you bought a sign on sale or at regular price. If a refund is due, we will refund the amount you paid.
Exchanges
Because each sign is made-to-order and customized, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at contact@flatmetalsigns.com, informing us that your sign is defective or damaged. We will then email you more instructions.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will learn about your return.
Shipping a Return
Please don’t ship a sign until after we have reviewed the circumstances and provided approval and instructions on shipping a return.
Hold onto the box that the sign was shipped so that you can use it to return it.
You are responsible for the shipping costs to return your item. However, we will pay to ship the replacement sign. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, your exchanged product may take varying amounts of time to reach you.
If returning a more expensive sign, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
